African Fashion Week 2010 Day 2 – Christie Brown

Nokukanya and Thomas ( 2nd year London International School of Fashion students): “Good textiles and silhouettes – but not together in the same outfit. The overall print was more of a craft than an art. The ribonning was very good.”

Kgomotso Christopher (not in the fashion industry): “Fabulous! There was clever use of new African design. Modern and classical. Very wearable and adaptable.”

Christie Brown: These are new designs which are fashion forward (in with the trends) but with a piece of Africa which is the general African fashion movement.”
