The hair team led by London based Johnine Sapong (Jed Root) of Ghanian origin with support from Nigeria’s Hair Limited worked tirelessly and back to back to sculpt, shape and churn out different hair looks for all the shows. They worked side by side with the make up team, led by Becks Buki and Philip, using Black Up products with support from the Black Up team featuring – Bayo Haastrup, Bimpe Ogunmakin and a host of others. It must have been an ardous task – to create, recreate and touch up all the looks to ensure that what went down the runway had a flow with the entire collection.
Hats, headwraps, cherries, jewelled pieces or simple ponytails and bangs were sent down the runway day in day out. From barely there make up to orange red lipsticks, plum lipsticks with beautiful well arched eyebrows and smoky eyes, the hair and make up team served it!

It was definately all about minimalism in H/B looks this year. I love it!
P.S I loveeeeee thE messy buns, my only wish is that nigerian women will be adventurous enough to try some of these looks, tone down the makeup ladies and focus on ONE feature. Great H/B Backstage review!
