Beauty Guru Of The Month: BritPopPrincess

When you work in the beauty industry, you realize a lot of things don’t change. Mascara is mascara is mascara, you know? What has changed is the amount of knowledge that is available to us. There was a time when beauty tricks and tips were only available to the lucky few who had access to makeup artists and other beauty professionals (i.e. celebrities). Luckily for us normal-folk, the internet has democratized beauty.

There are blogs and message boards bursting with beauty info but in our humble opinion, nothing beats Youtube.com. Are you familiar with the beauty guru?  Have you experienced the joy of finding a tutorial that shows you how to achieve a bronzey glow that would make Beyonce jealous? Have you experienced the relief of finding out that product you were thinking of buying isn’t worth the money because a guru already reviewed it? If not, it’s okay. We got you.

Every month, we at Style House Files are going to spotlight a beauty vlogger we think you should know about. This month, that vlogger happens to be BritPopPrincess. While she doesn’t vlog about beauty exclusively, BritPopPrincess’s (real name Patricia) beauty videos are still some of the most viewed on Youtube.

The Nigerian cutie first came onto the scene when she vlogged about her journey to healthier hair. Now she mostly posts on her fashion channel, uploading videos on everything from finding the best foundation for brown skin to wearing a mini-skirt without looking like a hooker. How can you not love that?
