black|Up Cosmetics Launch at the Ikeja Mall

black|Up launches first stand-alone store outside of Paris at the Ikeja Mall.

Beauty junkies, clear your schedules and get ready to shop till you drop! black|Up Cosmetics is launching it’s first international stand-alone store at the Ikeja City Mall and you’re all invited.

In collaboration with Montaigne Place Exclusive Retailers, black|Up Paris is set to bring the first black|Up stand-alone shop outside of Paris to Lagos and is celebrating with a launch.

The main launch event is invite only and will take place on Sunday, July 22^nd 2012 at the new black|Up store and will feature live makeup demonstrations and presentations by professional models. On Monday the 23^rd and Tuesday the 24^th, the makeup artists and models are back from 10am-6pm and are open to the public, which pretty much makes deciding to go a no-brainer, right?

We at Style House Files are excited for a number of reasons:

It’s makeup! Who doesn’t love playing around with lipsticks and eyeshadows? It’s like dressing up in your mom’s clothes as a child.
This is the first black|Up stand-alone shop outside of Paris. How cool is that?
Did we mention there will be live makeup demonstrations? A team of PROFESSIONAL make-up artists headed by international Celebrity Makeup Artist and Creative Ambassador of black|Up, David Coranson, will be available to answer your questions and give you insider tips and tricks. I know I’m not the only girl who wants to know how to avoid the dreaded cake face.
black|Up was founded in Paris in 1999 by a professional makeup artist of African ancestry. And it shows! Just look at their Cream to Powder Foundations; with so many shades of brown to choose from, it’s impossible to not find a color that works with your skin tone.
