This S/S 11 season saw a white-wash on the catwalks. International designers like Michael Kors, Valentino and Ralph Lauren showed us how this non-colour could be used to create pieces that were structured, elegant and functional. The choice of styling on most of these looks also suggested that these designs needed no extra adornment- so subtle accessories like slim tan belts and nude heels were used to accentuate the chic-simplicity of the garments.

At the Belle Sauvage, A/W 11 LFW party which was held in Sketch, it was great to bump into this lady who gave a credible nod to the easy-luxe trend.
As smart, tailored looks go this one really is a winner; the way the dress falls demurely just below her knees, the suggestive gaping neckline and the simple co-ordination of accessories- all give of an air of pure lady-like perfection.
