Model for a cause - Kene Rapu in a Lanre Da Silva Ajayi dress auctioned at Eden
Fashion Auction House returned as Eden on the 18th of April at Saipan with a different vision – Recyclable Fashion for a Cause. All proceeds from the sales at the event are going to Genesis House – a Freedom Foundation initiative for the rehabilitation of victims of sex trade.
SHF was indeed delighted to see people turn out at the Eden Fashion Auction House Event to support the women of Genesis House; even if it was disguised with a little retail therapy, at least it was for a good cause right?
SHF looks forward to seeing more of initiatives like this that discourage being wasteful and channelling it to a good cause. Don’t forget our message of this season – supporting charities like Genesis House is much more than monetary donations, you can make a difference by mentoring the ladies or offering them a chance to intern at your organization. Remember, we all have gifts and the special gift that has been placed inside us all can indeed make a difference!
