Africa is still being celebrated on the international fashion stage right now thanks to the tribal/ethnic fashion trend. SHF hopes this will be a long lasting celebration that heralds the global acceptance of African fashion and Accessories designers.
SHF loves the Essence magazine’s fashion editorial – Mix Master and V Magazine’s fashion editorial – All the world’s a stage (in particular, the Out of Africa edit) for its melange of colours and textures – very rich and a useful tool in dissecting the various elements that make up the tribal/ethnic trend – accessories, colours, hair style, clothes or just plain attitude!
What SHF loves best? All the models are African! Georgie Badiel – (Burkina Fasso) for Essence, David Agbodji (Nigerian) and Ataui Deng (Sudan) for V Magazine.
