When it comes to red carpet fashion, the choices can become a little repetitive. How many strapless gowns can one look at before dying from boredom?

That is why lovers of fashion love Diane Kruger. The woman is a fashion gangsta. She keeps things interesting, wakes up a red carpet with her sartorial choices and looks amazing every single time.

The golden one was a juror at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival and since she schooled everyone with her fashion forward outfits, I thought she deserved her own post. Check out some of the outfits the stylish actress wore.

* Kruger doesn’t have a stylist. I’m just saying…

Versus at the Cannes Opening Ceremony Photocall. The shoes are Jimmy Choo. Some people hated it but I didn’t. I’m digging the classy bondage look. And with her hair down and the light makeup, she looks girly. While I was going through photos someone left a comment saying she looked cheap in the dress.
Diane Kruger?
Please.
Too skinny? Sometimes. A little uncomfortable? Yeah, okay. Cheap? NEVER.

Giambattista Valli Haute Couture at the Moonrise Kingdom premiere.  The one shouldered Grecian gown has been done before but the construction and fit of this Giambattista Valli is ridiculous and the color is a dream.

Balmain from head to toe on her way to French talk show Le Grand Journal.  She looks sexy and classy and girly all at the same time. How does she do that?

*Are you loving the boots as much as I am?

Calvin Klein at the Calvin Klein Women in Film Celebration. The bag is also Calvin Klein. The shoes Givenchy. There’s not much going on here (there’s a reason why Calvin Klein is a minimalist’s dream designer) which allows one to truly appreciate the color. And her boobs look fantastic.

Jason Wu at the Haiti Carnival in Cannes. It’s a lot. The lace, the sheerness. But Kruger keeps her hair simple and her accessories to a minimum. It’s another win in my opinion.

Vivienne Westwood Couture at The Armour premiere.  Sequins are tricky. It’s a fine line between sparkly fun and tacky 70s prom. But, of course, Vivienne Westwood would design a sequined gown that shimmered in the most flattering way possible. The clutch is Jimmy Choo and the shoes and vintage earrings are gifts from Karl Lagerfeld (must be nice).

Nina Ricci at the Killing Them Softly premiere. This white gown makes me sigh every time I see it. The bag is Judith Leiber, the shoes Prada and the ring, Boucheron.

Prabal Gurung at the Nights in Monaco Gala Fundraiser. Some may argue that there’s too much going on but how can you not love the artistry in this? That feathered skirt! The clutch is Roger Vivier and those shoes that I want so badly are Nicholas Kirkwood.

Chanel at the 2012 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala. Karl Lagerfeld always dresses his girls in the most amazing dresses. Those two hit the stage together earlier in the night, along with Harvey Weinstein.

Jenny Packham at the Cannes Winners Dinner. The silk gown is what Kruger slipped into for the Cannes Winners Dinner. The clutch is Edie Parker. Aww, how cute are her and Joshua Jackson? Love him so (#MightyDucks4Eva).

Christian Dior Couture at the Cannes Closing Ceremony. That dress would overwhelm most women. Walking in it must be a nightmare. Yet Kruger looks so effortless in it. How does she DO that?

*Kruger paired her dress with Boucheron earrings and the shoes are Dior as well.
