This silk Coccolily, ‘Toni Dress’ (£208), was recently added to Myasho.com and hits the S/S ’11 ‘bold colour’ mark with precision. This season the catwalks were swept by a colourful tidal wave and now for a fraction of the designer price, you too can make like Tara Palmer-Tomkinson (circa the Royal Wedding) and join the ‘royal blue’ gang.
What I love about this structured number is the rich fabric and chic detailing which includes a modest round neckline and delicate box pleats that form the skirt. Due to the bold block shade, one can either go via the ‘colour blocking’ route and match the dress with accessories that bear a similar colour tone or contrast the tone with explosive hues like fluro orange and acid green. Personally, I’d go for the latter to ensure that you alight your surroundings with a burst of brilliant glamour.
