SHF is always in search of the perfect holiday wardrobe that promotes Africa and African designers. We are incredibly delighted to add swimsuits to the list of pieces that can help channel our inner desire to keep the African continent’s fashion flag flying.
So looking forward to a Mediterranean holiday in Bantu Wax swimwear (lumps and bumps permitting). The swimwear line has been on our radar for a while courtesy Vanity Fair online, Shopliquorice, Vanity Fair June 2010 and a host of others.
Bantu’s mission includes celebrating the vibrant beach culture in Africa with a range of swimwear that comes in different colours and style. Designed by Kenyan Yodit Eklund, the Bantu Wax swimwear is made from African inspired print (ankara) and manufactured in African factories from Ethiopia to Cameroon, where job opportunities and wealth is created for locals.
